Golden Hawk Golf Club first opened for play in 1996. The course was designed by John Grissim.

Golden Hawk Golf Club is very friendly for all skill levels. Four sets of tees accommodate every type of golfer. With water on 14 of the 18 holes, 24 sand bunkers scattered throughout and many different trees everywhere you look, placement for each and every shot takes good course management. The signature hole is #6, a 430-yard, par 4, which has a hawk carved from a tree sitting along the tee box.

Par for the course is 71. From the back tees the course plays to 6,402 yards. From the forward tees the course measures 4,884 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 9, a par-5 that plays to 582 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 16, a par-3 that plays to 126 yards from the back tees.
